EHS Hall of Fame
Nominating someone for the Encinal Sports and Civic Hall of Fame is a chance to shine a spotlight on the people who’ve lifted up our community—on the field, in the classroom, and far beyond. It’s an opportunity to honor athletes, coaches, alumni, and civic leaders whose grit, heart, and service have left a lasting mark on Encinal and the greater Alameda community. If you know someone whose legacy deserves to be celebrated and preserved, now’s the perfect moment to step up and put their name forward.
Nominations can be submitted from Dec. 1, 2025, through Feb. 28, 2026.
criteria for nominations
CIVIC HALL OF FAME
EHS graduates or attendees are eligible for nomination five years after graduation.
EHS coaches, staff, and volunteers are eligible for nomination at any time.
The nominee for selection to the Civic HoF must be of good moral character.
The nominee must have been recognized in the field of business, civic, or military service by his/her peers in the community.
An EHS alumnus may not nominate himself or herself.
ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
EHS graduates or attendees are eligible for nomination five years after graduation.
Must attend school for at least two years.
EHS coaches, staff, and volunteers are eligible for nomination at any time.
The nominee for selection to the Athletic HoF must be of good moral character.
The nominee must have been All-League in at least one sport or have been recognized in a college or professional sport.
An EHS alumnus may not nominate himself or herself.
